Full cPanel backup is a backup of all of your site files, e-mail accounts, databases, statistics, etc. Creating a full cPanel backup is often required when you want to move your sites to a different host. It also is advised to perform regular backup of your files for security measures. Unfortunately, a full backup cannot be generated and downloaded instantly. User has to request to prepare a backup file for him and he will be sent an e-mail once it is ready to download. To create a full backup of your cPanel account, follow the steps below:
1. Login to your cPanel account
2. Click on Backups icon
3. Click on “Download or Generate a Full Website Backup” button
4. Select Home Directory as your Backup Destination
5. Enter your email where you want a notification to be sent once the backup is finished generating
6. You will be sent a link to download your backup once it is finished generating, or you had use your favorite FTP client to download it from your home directory
