DNS zone file goal is to tie domain name to IP address on your web server. cPanel allows you to edit and create new DNS records.To create a DNS entry, follow the steps below:
1. Login to your cPanel control panel
2. Click on “Simple DNS Zone Editor” icon located under the “Domains” section
3. Select a domain name you wish to add or modify DNS entries for
4. If you wish to create an A record, type in the “Name” and “Address” of the A record and click on “Add a Record” button
5. If you wish to create a CNAME record, type in the “Name” and “CNAME” of the CNAME record and click on “Add CNAME Record” button
