Do you provide a serial console?

Yes, we offer a serial console for all OpenVZ virtual servers and the details can be accessed through the serial console tab of the control panel. For an average user, serial console has no advantage over a regular SSH console, however it may be useful when the regular console becomes inaccessible. Unlike other VNC consoles, this does not require any custom configuration inside your VPS.

The console is disabled by default; to enable, simply click the Enable Console button found in the serial console tab. You will be provided an IP, ssh port, username and password that you will use to setup the SSH connection. Please keep in mind that the password will only be shown once and will be changed every time you enable the console.

Please note that the console login may be used for SSH only; other services such as scp or sftp are not permitted.
